  It's not very often that I feel the need to write reviews but I have to say that I was really looking forward to trying these as a cheaper alternative to other "Gym meals". Sadly I have had nothing but disappointment in everything I have tried. Incredibly poor quality food, with portions that are far too small and extremely bland. The few chicken meals I had were rubbery and overcooked, the Mexican pork stew had about 2 pieces of pork in it, the list goes on. I was expecting something close to Core Powerfood meals (and the price was very attractive by comparison), but after purchasing Gym Food's products, the sad reality set in - you cannot even come close to comparing the two for quality and quantity. For only 45c more per meal, I can get a Core meal that is amost 200% bigger - a necessity for someone looking to gain muscle while keeping the weight from piling on. The meals I have had so far are no bigger than a closed fist, which is hardly a size worthy of demanding a price premium of $7.50. I am very surprised to see so many positive reviews, because my experience with this food was nothing short of appalling. I will be sticking to Core foods from now on, and unless a drastic improvement can be made in the quality, quantity and price of Gym Foods, I definitely will not be a returning customer.

  These guys rock. My meals were safely stowed in the restaurant freezer when I arrived at my hotel. The meals are exactly what they purport to be - I think the honey soy beef was my fave. Meant I could maintain my comp prep while having to travel for work.

  Fantastic company, very approachable and friendly. I've spoken to the owner personally who is a genuinely helpful guy. These meals really are incredibly healthy and great for anyone short of time. I personally eat the 500g meals for lunch and dinner. You can choose which meals you want online and choose where to pick it up. It's so easy. I'm currently in the middle of nowhere so this truly has been a blessing for me.
